Secrets & Shadows Series

Prequel - Shadows of the Heart -- (Free Download)

A forged ledger. A debt that doubled overnight. A sealed letter that says someone wants her ruined.

Eliza arrives at the great house in the rain, expecting nothing more than a quiet position and a roof over her head. Instead she finds a master who never smiles, a household that hides more than it says, and a ledger in which a single figure has been altered. A debt of four thousand pounds has become forty thousand, and it falls due on Friday.

Nathaniel has been trying to protect everyone under his roof. Eliza has just proved him wrong about her, and about the danger. Together they have five days to find out who forged the page, and why the seal on the letters is a greyhound’s head in red wax.

A sweet Victorian romance with a mystery at its heart. Expect kisses and deep affection, but nothing steamy or violent.

Shadows of the Heart is a short novella and the prequel to the Secrets and Shadows series. The secret society behind the seal returns in every book.
